Hey, watch your attitude!
I think we all should watch, and learn, from their attitudes! I was going to add a comment of my own to the Sputter vs. Symbaloo post, but I decided this was so key that it deserves it’s own post.
I encourage you to read the two comments that Tim (Symbaloo) and Steffen (Sputtr) left after that post came out - the one describing their projects (they had no warning). The way that they complimented each other’s work while at the same time explaining their own aspirations, serves as a model of the cordial relationship that often exists between the alternative search engines. Steffen even recommended a third alternative; Rollyo!
This has been the rule at ASE, not the exception. Even the debates are friendly! I just want all of our readers to see what the proper perspective on competition and cooperation looks like. Thank you, Tim and Steffen, we look forward to updates from both of you.
