Snooth just launched the basic friends functionality on their site. You can now build your profile, add friends, see what they are drinking, subscribe to their RSS feeds and find people who like the same wines you do.

“This is by no means complete, so keep your eyes open for lots more,” said CEO Philip James, “including a stealth application, which will be revealed in the next few days. In the interim, create an account, get your friends involved, and start sharing reviews and information on what you’re drinking. With over 1.5 million reviews and hundreds of thousands of wines, there’s something for everyone.”
