Take a journey through the universe of Nuroa!

Would you like to take a journey through the universe of Nuroa?  Welcome on board!

1st Stop: The intuitive search

Our objective is to organize all of the relevant information about real estate existing on the web. We developed intuitive search to overcome this challenge. Searching for a home involves many more aspects than just price or the number of square meters. We are aware that the purchase of a new home can be one of the most important decisions in life. Therefore, we offer all the information necessary to help the user with the decision to buy or to rent property.

Now we are in the second phase of the Internet – Web 2.0 – where technology, design, content and user participation can be utilized and combined to provide the user with a completely new experience while searching for real estate. Our intuitive search combines cutting-edge technology (our crawler), extensive content (ads, photos, news, videos, etc.) and sense for community (feedback and participation of the users).
According to the English Dictionary the word “intuition” means “the inner and instant perception of an idea or a truth, which is taken for granted by the person that has this perception”. And this is the best characteristic of our search engine – quickly realizing the search and understanding the wishes of the user.

Let’s see an example:

After the user has entered his search keywords into the search box, he or she will be forwarded to a result page consisting of three columns. Each of the three columns has a specific function.

The middle column – This is the main column where all the search results are listed. Ads can be ordered by: date, price, ranking or popularity. The user also has the option to view the search results on a map.

The left column – In this column the user can start a new search or filter the search results by the following criteria: price, category, number of rooms and bathrooms, size, city district, price per m2, date or only ads with photos. Furthermore, the user can also filter the ads by more specific characteristics called “tags” (e.g., balcony, garden, or a terrace).

The right column– In this column the user can extend his or her search to additional categories. For example, if the user searches for a flat in Berlin, we will also provide results linked to the search – information normally obtained by searching the internet. But now the user can find the relevant content on nuroa. Maybe the user was not aware of the fact that this content exists and now the user can easily get this information in just one click of the mouse. Let´s look at the different types of information:
