Does Web-Alerts.com really work? You tell me.
With Web-Alerts.com, you can stay up to date with your favorite websites. Enter the address for your favorite website. When something new is posted, you will receive a text message on your mobile phone. You can even choose a keyword and be alerted only when new items contain your keyword. Very cool.
This service is free. They do not charge a fee for using this service, however, your provider may charge for receiving standard text messaging depending on your service plan, so please check first.
You can unsubscribe at any time. Just open the link in your text message and choose “My Alerts” to remove any alert you are subscribed to.
They value your privacy. Your phone number is only used to deliver the alerts you have subscribed. They will not use it for other purposes or sell your information to others.
This service is provided by FeedM8

The following mobile carriers are currently supported:
US- AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, Virgin Mobile, Nextel, Alltel, Metro PCS, Helio
Canada- Rogers, Fido, Telus, Virgin Mobile, Sasktel, MTS
But here’s the problem. My phone uses a carrier that they do not support. So, would some of you be willing to subscribe to AltSearchEngines.com and see if Web-Alerts.com really works?
If you do, please leave a detailed comment for the rest of us. Thanks in advance! -Charles
