How to add 1,000 search engines to your toolbar!
Chances are that the search box in the upper right corner of your screen looks like this:
But what if you don’t want Google? Well, you just click on the drop down arrow like so:
Hmm, how did ManagedQ get there? Check out their new homepage.
Now, if you click on the last line, “Manage Search Engines…” you get this:
Now click on “Get more search engines…” and you’ll see (in Firefox):
But don’t click on “Search Engines” on the left, scroll down to the bottom…
…and click on mycroft.mozdev.org
Hello! You’re not done yet…click on Advanced Search
Then click on ‘General’
Congratulations! You’re done! 1,000 alternative search engines at your disposal.
Now you’re ready to start your own alternative search engine blog! (But don’t!)
