The Next Generation Search Engine - Cluuz

Cluuz is a next generation search engine that returns better results than traditional engines by going beyond simply listing links. Cluuz’s core technology understands the relationship between the terms searched, leading to more relevant, easy to understand search results.

The difference between standard search engines and Cluuz is in the fact that Cluuz does some work for you. A standard search engine shows links such as this:
On the other hand Cluuz peers into the searched web pages, extracts important terms, clusters them and gives them in chart format (semantic graph) where you can click on any entity to further focus your search:

Or you can use Cluuz clusters with a suggested terms list generated from most important entities extracted from the results.
So choose the type of visual representation that you like best from the Cluuz Preferences and do some searches.
You don’t have to be precise with your search. Do a search and follow the Cluuz entities/tags that will lead you to better results, faster.
Cluuz web search results are powered by:
* Yahoo Search Web Service
* Microsoft Live Search
* Alexa Web Search
* Technorati Search API
There are multiple ways of viewing results. People that process information visually will likely prefer the Chart or the Flash option, while people who understand information by reading text will likely prefer Clusters. Each brick in the chart view represents a cluster. You can obtain the charts in the cluster view as well (a combination of two presentation methodologies) by clicking on italicized “i” on the cluster title line on the left. The + on the cluster title line in the cluster view expands to show most connected entities/terms and clicking on them will spawn a new search.
If all of this seems a bit too complex or overwhelming, I suggest that you watch the Cluuz demo video. Just look on the homepage below the search box where it says: How to use Cluuz?
I also recommend setting aside some time for exploring this new search engine.
There are a wealth of features and options, so if you just start searching and clicking on “boxes and bricks,” you’ll be rewarded with a fantastic variety of results! Take a look at my flash results for “Absinthe” directly above. This is exactly what we mean by Alternatives to Google!
The Cluuz engine was created by Sprylogics International Inc. Sprylogics develops advanced search, analysis, and information display tools and services. These solutions enable users to search large amounts of unstructured data on the Web, and in internal corporate databases, and convert it into actionable intelligence.
The core technology driving Sprylogics’ solutions is embedded in the Cluuz Search Engine platform which enables both consumers and corporate users to methodically search the Internet and internal corporate resources and find the information they are looking for. Cluuz search results are visually displayed through patent pending semantic graphs and result in improved decision making capabilities. To find out more about Sprylogics, visit www.sprylogics.com.
Welcome, Cluuz to the family of Alternative Search Engines - and The Search Race!

bleh… the graph is a little cool, but the fact that every search is an HTTP Post is not… no friendly urls I can mail around.
Also like Quintura this is basically a visual wrapper around Yahoo and Msn with some basic entity association.
