New Appointments Boost Shopping Search Engine Twenga
* Jean Fabrice Mathieu, currently CEO of online property portal, SeLoger.com, and former CEO of Kelkoo, appointed to Twenga’s Board of Directors
* Thomas Sevege from TradeDoubler, joins as VP Sales, and Therese Torris of consulting firm Afferto, previously at Forester Research, appointed as VP Content
* Twenga is now present in 11 countries with over 12 million monthly unique users. Since its UK launch in October 2007, Twenga receives over 2.5 million monthly unique users in the UK.
In his role on Twenga’s board, Jean Fabrice will provide strategic advice and guidance to the Twenga management team to enable it to implement its growth, expansion and development plans effectively, and to ensure that Twenga capitalises on key aspects that differentiate it from competitors. VP of Content, Therese will ensure the competitiveness and quality of the Twenga websites, and manage the content teams in all the geographies. Thomas Sevege, in his role as VP of Sales, will develop the commercial organisation and manage all sales channels.
Jean Fabrice Mathieu
Internet luminary Jean Fabrice Mathieu joined the first online property portal SeLoger.com as CEO in 2006, one of France’s highest ranked websites with traffic of over 1.5 million unique users (source: Nielsen Netratings). In 2007, SeLoger.com generated a turnover of over €57million, an increase of more than 50% on 2006 and an EBIDTA (Earnings before interest, depreciation, taxes and amortisation) margin of 52%, an increase of more than 75% year on year.

Dr. Therese Torris
Therese Torris, Managing Director and founder of consulting firm Afferto, which provides advice about innovation in retail finance, joins Twenga as VP of Content. Prior to this, Therese was Senior Vice-President at Forrester Research, where she led European analyst teams specialising in business and technology. Prior to Forrester, Therese held similar positions as European Director of Research and Director of Consulting at Gartner Group and Dataquest. Therese is a member of the board of EuropeanPWN, Europe’s leading network of executive women and holds an MBA from INSEAD and PhD from Paris VIII/Cologne University.
Thomas Sevege
Thomas Sevege joins Twenga as VP of Sales from TradeDoubler, where since 2006 he worked as Director for Southern Europe, Benelux and Emerging Markets, having previously been Managing Director of TradeDoubler France since 2003 and Affiliate Manager since 2001. Thomas graduated from the Paris Graduate School of Management and continued his specialization in e-commerce and online marketing with a Masters from Leonard De Vinci University.
