A Search Engine for U.S. Imports and Exports

Thanks to ImportGenius, there is now a search engine that can track the import-export industry. The company has just released its new search engine which provides instantaneous access to an enormous (and continuously updated) database of every shipment entering the United States from 2006 to yesterday.
The company says its service will revolutionize the way companies find both suppliers and competitors.
When users do a search, ImportGenius returns in-depth information about every related shipment processed by U.S. customs during the date range the user selects. Typing in the name of an importer reveals contact information for the overseas supplier of every shipment imported into the U.S., along with the dates of arrival and other useful data.

ImportGenius also allows users to search by product type in a given date range. That type of query would reveal the number of shipments of that product in and out of the US during that time. Users can even combine searches to further refine the results and, for example, search for imports and exports of a certain product by a certain company.
The search engine is for subscribers only, and targets business customers who need access to the shipment data and charges between $199 and $399 a month depending on the service requested from the site.
However, they are offering free trial accounts during May. To sign up for one, call (888) 843-0272.
Thanks, Rafi
