Conjungo – It’s Latin, vox pop!
Juxtapose the words Conjungo and Zubican and you’ll sound like you’re from some outer space, or else quoting a string of prescription drug commercials. But neither of these are true, because you’d be talking about two seriously comprehensive business alts, and other than that, one of the words is actually Latin.
Conjungo means ‘to unite’ in Latin. What they want is this: Buyers to be able to easily identify, select and evaluate the suppliers that are available worldwide. What Zubican is trying to be for the US, Conjungo is trying to be for the whole globe.
Conjungo is aiming to be recognized as the ‘technology supplier search engine of choice’ for business buyers, and unlike other business sites, not only lists authorized vendors, but also resellers. They cover the following areas:
* Information Technology
* Software
* Wireless
* Internet
* Telecommunications

All the content in Conjungo is provided by suppliers themselves so that end users can be confident that the information is reliable.
As someone completely unacquainted with the intricacies of what goes on in the back alleys of business transactions between vendors, resellers, and suppliers, I can’t really pretend to go into amazing detail about how everything works in this realm. But what I can do is show you what they wrote, and if you can understand it, then you’re obviously meant for this site, because you understand the business machine.
“If you were a buyer, how would you, for example, identify three or four localised providers of VoIP solutions with experience of implementing solutions for SME sized retail organizations that are based in the county of Berkshire, England, where your head office is located? Would you even know where to begin?”
I can try to translate that. If I get it wrong, please leave a comment. A VoIP solution, being that I have a VoIP phone and know something minimal about it, allows companies in different countries to communicate cheaper through the internet via phone instead of through international long distance lines that are more expensive. Or you want to communicate with your head office in England and you’re based in…I don’t know…Swaziland. You want to know the companies that can equip you and are fit to handle your size company, which is SME, a term which means something specific to you, because you own the company and know all the size-concerned terminological specifications. Back to Conjungo:
“It can be a daunting prospect. Maybe you go through the relevant industry magazines, ask friends, family and colleagues, and try a variety of internet search engines that churn up millions of web pages that are not directly relevant. It’s a time consuming process. You have to read through pages and pages of information to find out who and where your local resellers are, whether they have relevant industry experience and if they can provide support to your type or size of organization.”
Translation: If you don’t use Conjungo in searching for this VoIP solution for SME companies looking to communicate from Swaziland to England, you’re up a creek. Thank the Lord for Conjungo.
